BUSINESS DOCUMENTATION
Modern business operations generate large quantities of documentation. Since documents usually come in identical, similar or related forms and types of records as well as formats, mass documentation capture is possible. It is carried out with professional scanners.
Prior to scanning, all documentation is technically prepared since business documentation is often subject to numerous different ways of processing within a company. Before the documents are scanned, the staff makes sure any staples are removed and that none of the pages are folded/crumpled etc., i.e. that the documentation is suitably prepared for scanning.
BOOKS
Mikrografija regards books as specific documentation, which needs to be scanned on special, customized scanners because books come in various, non-standard forms. Scanning books is an excellent solution to preserve them, and enables users multiple views of the documentation, which has thus gained new functionalities.
At the same time, book documentation must be handled with great care, especially older items which tend to be the worse for wear on account of their maturity, method of storage and binding. Clients can further process the scanned images or have the service carried out by Mikrografija. TECHNICAL PLANS
The technical documentation, plans and maps require a special scanning method due to their unique design.
The width of the scanned documentation can be larger than the A0 format and unlimited in length. Our solution also allows you to capture documents up to 20 millimeters thick. After scanning, these documents are classified and capture either the entire or only partial content of the documents with an appropriate OCR tool – mCapture.
X-RAY IMAGES
Modern healthcare relies increasingly on e-documents. Doctors can use x-ray images in procedures involving long-term treatment or for the purpose of precisely diagnosing a patient’s medical condition. For healthcare institutions, Mikrografija offers the service of digitising x-ray images, the e-form of which can be furnished with details on the patient. Furthermore, the converted files can be imported, in a suitable format (typically dicom), into the healthcare organisation’s document management or information system.
